ARZOPA Portable Monitor
The second screen that travels with me. It sits beside the MacBook and gives me a real two-monitor setup in a coffee shop, a hotel, or a customer's spare desk. Mine is an older ARZOPA that is no longer sold; this is the current version of the same idea. As a sales engineer, you have to demonstrate lots of different kinds of software; browser-based items, desktop apps, etc. While you're demoing, you need to also be able to do things on your other monitor that you don't want the customer to see, maybe bring up a specific slide in a deck, spinning up a VM or logging into another application. You then slide over just what you want them to see. Can't really do that effectively on a single-screen. It connects easily too with a single USB-C cable so aside from the monitor itself, that's the only other thing you need. I toy back and forth between this monitor and just using an iPad as a screen sometimes as the iPad is, well, also an iPad, where as the monitor is kind of 1 trick pony.

The verdict
On my desk since May 2026, and it scores 8.0 out of 10.
Everything above comes from running it on real call days, not from a spec sheet — the flaws worth knowing are in the trade-offs, not buried in a spec table. How I rate gear.
What works
- A genuine second screen anywhere, folds flat into the bag
- Single USB-C cable to most recent laptops
- 1080p IPS that is plenty sharp for docs, demos, and calls
- Powered over the laptop's USB-C, so it sips battery
- Not as bright or color-accurate as a desk monitor
